I have some people who just don't get this. But this has really become a big part of my life.
It is an outlet that I get to connect with friends daily.
You know about their families, extended families, we witness our faith, share our joys and tears, pray for each other and try to support each other as best as we can through our computers.
Joel and I left on a road trip Wednesday and we were traveling through Little Rock where this dear friend lives. I told her we were coming by Little Rock and she said come for dinner and spend the night. I can not even explain the excitement that I had to finally meet her face to face.
We have many, many things in common. Our love for our Lord, being pastor's wives, some children the same age, antiques, cooking and we found out we each collect tea cups. The talking never stopped. It was so nice that our husbands joined right in with each other too. Sara and I actually went into the kitchen to talk so we did not have to talk over our husbands and their shop talk.
Today was such a joy and can't wait till we can meet again.
Thank you so much Sara and Steve for opening your home to us, delicious food, the competition in the card game ( guys against girls- all I have to say is there will be a rematch someday) and be such loving Christian friends.
