We had some violent winds whip through this afternoon.  Our patio furniture was sliding across the deck, branches flying through the air and all I could think of was Auntie Em (Wizard of Oz).  I truly thought a tornado was coming through. They say the winds were about 68 mph.

 I heard a boom and saw a flash and of course thought it was lightening. All the neighbors across the street came out because their power went out.  This tree blew over on the power lines.  Big excitement on our little street.
