OH! I so totally understand this!!!!! Last year we funneled our ditch (knowing it would re-freeze and eventually be covered once again with new snow) to the very center of the yard and had our own ice-skating pond. Only in North Country! Like yours -- our melting yard reveals all the leaves we didn't rake up last year. ooooops!
