It was so sad to watch them leave. Not that he was a brillant man, but I loved his values and understood the decisions he made. As for the new guy, well, yes I wish him well, but I can't help wondering where all this "perfect-ness" is going. There is not a doubt in my mind we are witnessing MORE then history, because a black man is president.
I will miss them too! He is a great man. I met him and Laura in Dallas through mutual friends. Down to earth wonderful people. Got him to sign a baseball and Laura too :). She said no one had ever asked HER to sign a ball before! Little did I know I would have the signature of a future President. God bless them indeed. They have sacrificed so much as all our President's do!

I'm sad to see them go and am concerned about what will happen with our new president, but am praying and remembering that God is in control.
