the empty nest

Some sweet friends of ours moved out of our little neighborhood and headed down the road about ten minutes.  They moved into a lovely home on the lake.  It was great to sit on their deck, enjoy the view, have a glass of wine and catch up.

Mark and Shellie have a daughter who grew up with Phil. Soon their nest will be empty too.  There are about 5 families from church in the same situation as us.  We will have to find new things to do since our bleacher days are done.  Example - tonight the four of us played cribbage.  FUN - FUN - FUN !!!!  There will be many more games in the future.  I am sure of it.
