I am ready ....

 

I am ready to let the warm sun hit my face.

I am ready to open the windows in the house and let the fresh air in.

I am ready to not have to wear mittens anymore, scrape off my car and worry about slipping on the ice.

I am ready to plant flowers.

I am ready to get produce out of the garden and do some canning.

I am ready to wear sandals. 

I am ready to drive my car with the top down. 

I am ready to go on our daily walks outside instead of in the mall.

I am ready to sit by Diane's pool, have a beer and listen to John's crazy 80's music.

I am ready to watch Phil play some baseball.

I am ready to head to the Dells for my in-laws 50th anniversary celebration and spend time with Joels' family. 

I ready for the 4th of July and all of the traditions my family has.

I am ready for the 3rd week of July to sit on the beach, sail, sit in a chair and read and basically do nothing.

 

But the way things are going around here it seems like all those things are so far away.

It just keeps snowing and snowing.

I think my husband who loves to do snow removal is actually sick of it too.
