some family history ...

After we dropped Phil off yesterday we went to visit Joel's aunt and uncle. 

She asked me if I would have any use for these old suitcases that were her parents. 

 They were married in 1934 and took them on their honeymoon to the Worlds Fair in Chicago. 

I love family history. 

What I really love too is the name tag.  Written in Joel's grandpa's handwriting.

Have I ever shared that our Philip was named after him ???

I cleaned them up and found a nice spot in the family room for them.

They fit just perfect in the room.
