It is a Betty Crocker kinda day

I actually copied the title from Sara. But it was a Betty Crocker day. I love spending the day in the kitchen trying new recipes.

Tomorrow Joel's aunt and uncle from MI will be coming and spending the weekend. We have a family wedding. Always enjoy our time with Aunt Sue and Uncle Don. Rumor has it that they will be bringing us fresh peaches and blueberries. Sounds like some canning next week.

At the top left I have my favorite raspberry yogart, cool whip pie. Next to that is supper tomorrow night, lasagna. Sunday lunch is spicy zucchini soup. And chocolate chip zucchini bread. Lots of zucchini in the garden. Making a new salad for supper tomorrow, dried cranberries in that one. Saturday we are having Wake Up Sandwiches for breakfast. Can't wait to try these ( cream cheese, Swiss cheese, hard boiled eggs diced up, chopped up corn beef, toasted English muffins. Put the spread on and bake.) And another favorite for lunch Saturday is a Sandwich for a Crowd. (roast beef , ham, dill pickles, cheddar cheese, a cream cheese spread on a loaf of french bread.)

Did I mention Phil has a scrimmage that morning too? And the wedding is an hour away. I look forward to this fun weekend !!! And taking few pictures too.

Would be happy to share recipes too!
