Day 18 - a taste of Michigan

Joel's aunt and uncle from MI brought us peaches this summer.
I freeze the peaches whole. When I want to use them,
run them under warm water and the skins peal right off.
This pie was delicious.

    I've never heard of freezing them whole. I stir up the pie filling and freeze it in a freezer bag. That works too.

  6. So do you wash the peaches? blanch them? ...this intriques me as I have always done a syrup pack which is not very diet friendly. I love peaches in the middle of winter!
