Day 16 - they will always be little boys to me

Phil and Caleb had winter baseball today in a pole barn.
They came home and warmed their feet up.Then asked if they could roast marshmallows.
And we played a game by the fire.
I have told you this before -
they have been friends since first grade.
Now they are juniors in high school.
The time goes way to fast.
I am trying to enjoy every minute of it.

  5. Toasty toes!! So nice to have a good friend like that. My 17 year old boy is my "little boy" forever, even though he's 8 inches taller than me... I can't believe he's already a junior in high school - the time has definitely gone way too fast for me too.

  6. That's awesome they have been able to hang in there that long. I'm sure they'll be friends for life, no matter where the road leads.

  7. LuAnn, sounds like a fun time!! They have the wait outside Carlos BAkery run like a well-oiled machine. You don't get a lot of time in the bakery because you pretty much are asked (they give you a number) to place your order as soon as you get in there. This was tough for me because I am short and couldn't see the bakery good cases because of the throngs of the people in there and the fact that the place is sooooo tiny!

I enjoyed it. It was a nice family day for the four of us. We just got caught in rush-hour traffic on the way home. Please let me know what you think after you visit. Get their cannolis - they are delish!
