Day 321 I love GOOD deals!!!!

I have four of these plates that I got about 4 years ago at Goodwill. Like the rim for the coffee cup on the right. Here is the story - looking for 10 glass plates for the table I am hostessing at church tomorrow. Went to all the dollar stores in town and found nothing. Then I went to Goodwill and there was a stack of my glass plates like I had already. I grabbed eight and was so excited !!!! Then looked at the price a few were $1.99, .99 and .49. Now $1.99 is not a bad deal for this glass plate but if I could get it for .49. Took it to the check out and questioned the different prices. The young man claimed the clearer plates were newer ($1.99) and the others were a darker color and older so they would be less expensive. I tried to explain to him it was just dirty but he looked at me like I was just dumb. Took them back to manager and got the o.k. for .49 a plate.
Brought them home, washed the plates and the funny thing - they were all the same color - just plain glass.
